Constructed using only the highest quality robust cast iron, this small, powerful, clean burning non-catalytic fireplace has perfectly balanced proportions with a compact size making it the ideal heat source for smaller spaces. Despite its compact design the 1410 provides a substantial 6.8kW of heat output with an average of 72% efficiency.
Founded back in 1853 Morso craftsmen produce the finest cast iron wood stoves in the world, and the name Morso has been synonymous with quality. In all that time the 1410 has proven to be one of Morso’s all-time best-selling cast iron fireplaces.
These traditional classic style fireplaces can be recognised by its 2 air vents on the front of the door, one at the top of the door and one below the door, and the classic squirrel motif on both sides of the stove. Both rear and bottom heat shields for reduced clearances and better heat convection are standard, in addition to a reversible flue collar for either top or rear venting, providing flexibility in placement and construction.
The 1410 is a result of Moros’s technical expertise and advancement in the cast iron heating industry. The innovation for the 1410 comes from their 167 years of experience constructing cast iron products to combine both the latest technology with a quality and user-friendly design.
Despite its compact design, this wood burning fireplace has a powerful 6.8kW of rated output, making it ideal for a country cottage, city living or smaller spaces. Handcrafted in Denmark this fire has a separate bottom ash door and external riddler. A top air control lets you adjust for secondary burning and the bottom control allows for fine-tuning the combustion rate. Internally the 1410 has an air wash system that circulates air around the fire and flushes it over the glass to keep the viewing window clear. It is also equipped with a riddling grate and ash pan which allows for a clean and convenient disposal off ashes.
